DownloadOur American oberhasli bucks come from reliable, trusted herds excelling in structure, conformation, and breed type.
Owl-Ridge RJ Captain Morgan
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=B002054264
We love his depth of body and breed/head type, which he has passed onto his daughters - even when crossed to other breeds. His daughters are good producers and are easy to milk. His biggest drawbacks are a slight tendency to throw turned-in hocks, and less-than-ideal mammary attachment.
Morgan is FOR SALE
Cream-of-Kansas' SC Valor
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=B002236323
Valor is another super type-y buck whose face and color we absolutely love. He has no daughters in milk yet (fall '23) but his junior daughters exhibit the same classic face and correctness we expect from this herd.
4PeteSake Prairie Dusk
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=B002299697
Our junior herdsire will only be bred to a limited number of does this fall. We're excited to bring in some of these west coast genetics after admiring the 4PeteSake and LookAtMe does in National Show lineups.
Maple Wind Action Flashback
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=A002160772
Combine the Munchin'Hill "black witch" line of alpines with an amazing spotlight sale buck, and you get Flashback! At two, he has sired many structurally correct, long and level kids; one daughter taking BJDIS as a junior. His two milking daughters have globular, high, tight udders with excellent teat delineation.
Maple Wind Standing Ovation
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=A002183161
Two phenomenal herds combine in this long, tall buck who so far has added length and levelness of the topline, and rear udder width to his daughters.
Standly is FOR SALE
Kickapoo-Valley Jive Chaos
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=A002179631
Chaos makes long, level daughters and we were happy to add him to the herd. He was collected but has injured a leg so is currently unable to service does.
He will be FOR SALE once he recovers more.
Margaret became interested in the chestnut oberhalis and was fortunate to purchase some of the last lines from Sir Echo farm. Between the chestnuts and some ober/alpine crosses, the experimental goats have become the bulk of our herd - and we're bringing in more and more quality animals regardless of breed to complement those efforts.
Sir Echo Caprin
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=E001860861
Caprin exhibits stature and length, and passes that along to his daughters - along with his charming personality. We've only managed to get one milking daughter, but she shows a high and tight mammary, perhaps not as wide as we'd like, but with good attachments and excellent teat placement.
Sir Echo Britsa
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=E001842306
Britsa isnt as tall as his 'cousin' Caprin, but shows and passes on length of body and excellent rear leg set. So far we have a single milking daughter with a phenomenal build and body, and good but not outstanding mammary. We think that crossing does on him, and the resulting daughters on Caprin, ought to combine the best traits of each.
Gardenviewfarm OBB Night Cap
https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=E002158918
Night Cap is a fantastic blending of genetics across the country in a moderate-sized, tomato-soup-colored package. His milking daughters in the Vanjust herd show great attachments. The junior daughters we've seen show beautiful faces, his long and level topline, and great spring of rib.
